On my birthday we went to the pool. I was trying to help Nate with his swimming so I gave him some goggles and taught him how he can swim underwater. He really liked that and I think it gave him more confidence to try the above water swimming now that he knows he can swim underwater if he needs to. He hadn't practiced the above water swimming much in the shallow end before he decided to test out his skills in deeper water!
