Big People Food, Finally!

I was convinced that I wasn't going to be able to get Luke to eat anything other than pureed foods until he was old enough to have a detailed discussion on how to chew food and swallow. I think it was around June that he finally started giving some things a try to my complete shock. It was like one day he finally decided, "okay, it's time". It started with a taste of an ice cream popcicle (which doesn't seem surprising, but he never accepted any food I offered him, so how would he know he would like that???) and from then on, it was like, what else you got? Well, now I'm happy to report that he loves feeding himself, however he's not so good with the pacing:
