I was trying to encourage Bradley to play outside one day and he didn't feel like riding his scooter or the little balance bike we had. He is getting too big for the balance bike anyway and it dawned on me that this boy is 5 years old and ready to learn how to ride a big boy bike! So I impulsively went on Offer Up and tracked down a $15 bike. We figured since Nate earned a Lego set we could justify the bike for the great job Brad has been doing in school! Chance picked it up a couple days later and Bradley was so excited to have a bike like his brothers! He couldn't wait to try it and he was fearless as ever! This is no exaggeration, Chance held the back of the bike for maybe 20 feet before he let go and Brad was heading off down the road like a pro! This poor kid was long overdue for a big boy bike! And He loved it!
He had one accident where he forgot to turn and rode into the shop. Whoops! He cried for a minute and then shook it off and was ready to try again!
He was so good at not getting too frustrated with the learning process which is probably why he picked it up so fast!
He learned how to get on and off and start and stop all on his own the first day! Way to go Brad!
He loved it and asked to ride his bike the next morning before school! He was watching videos on my phone the next day and then decided to record a recap.
