4 Months

Nate is now 4 months old! He's becoming much more aware of everyone now, especially Luke! He loves watching Luke play around (more on that in another blog). He smiles all the time and is testing out his lungs with all his squealing. He had a bit of a fussy patch for awhile there (it may have been due to a bit of a rash) but I'm happy to report that he seems much happier now. We also just recently acquired his "bouncy bounce" (I have no clue what it is really called) and he really likes being able to play upright. He was sleeping really good at night for awhile (like 9pm to 6am!) until he decided that he doesn't want to sleep on his back anymore. In fact, he doesn't really like sleeping on his tummy either, so what does he do? He rolls to his side and then when he loses his balance and rolls on to his tummy or back, he wakes up! Ugh! Hopefully he'll get better at positioning himself soon so I can get some better stretches out of him. We had an ultrasound done on his kidneys a couple of weeks ago and they are still slightly enlarged. It doesn't seem to be a problem, but we will check them again later and hopefully they will have normalized. He still only sleeps about 1/2 hour for a nap in his crib, though every once in awhile he'll take a longer nap.

This one isn't the best picture of him, but for some reason I think he looks a lot like Chance in this one.
