Child Authors

 When the older boys weren't outside swimming and playing this summer they were writing comic books. 

Luke was the first to write a 71 page comic book titled "The Sinister Team -School break in." It was a tale of 3 criminals - a fox, raccoon and snake who were up to no good, but when they would try to commit crimes things would always go wrong. 

At the end of the book Luke penned an "about the author." It reads: "Luke Chancellor Norris was 8 years old when he wrote the Sinister Team. It was a big challenge for him to write seventy pages. Luke often got short-tempered and frustrated when his two younger brothers, Nathan and Bradley asked him questions about the book. Luke was born April 17, 2008. Luke finished the book June 17th 2016.

Nate was completely inspired and went on to write 3 comic books of his own. The first was titled, "The Battle Awaits" (104 pages - had to make it longer than Luke's) followed by "The Battle Awaits #2" (201 pages - had to make it longer than his last one) and then finally "The Final Battle - Ninja Crisis." The first two books were about a alien species called the "commonians" battling each other. The 3rd book is about the ninjas fighting a character names "Magmado".

Since Nate is now reading Chapter books, he decided to write one. He is still in the process of writing it, but here is the cover page:
