While Daddy was working hard earning money for us, we joined the Barnhill clan for a hike to Cherry Creek Falls in Duvall. Since we are all novice hikers, I don't think we realized what we were in for. This hike was very easy, but VERY LONG! Bradley did really good and walked the whole way there, but mommy carried him for about half of the return trip. Good thing I have been running laps around the neighborhood this summer!
The boys aren't the best hikers. Why? Because they don't walk in a straight line. They zig zag and climb on every stump and tree they can find off to the side which makes for a very long hike.
One of the highlights was getting to walk over the logs across a creek.
We also saw a weasel running across the path too. The boys thought that was really cool.
Our final destination! It was cool, but we new we had a long way to go back!
