We don't usually do much for the 4th of July. Chance usually buys the kids a few small fireworks. They tend to be very timid around when Chance lights them off.
However, this year Luke is getting a little more adventurous and wanted to light some off on his own. For the record I hate fireworks, however these ones really can't do much damage.
They were way more into the fireworks this year then they usually are so we decided since we were in Sultan this year, we might as well go check out Uncle Clint's show up at the Ohlsen's house. Wow, it was quite a show. The boys saw lots of cool fireworks (I saw money burning) from a very safe distance. Brad and Nate agreed with Chance's encouraging that inside the house was the best viewing spot since they were pretty loud. Luke wanted a better view so we watched from the deck and Kim Ohlsen was kind enough to let him use her noise-cancelling headphones! They thanked us over and over for taking them to see the show. :)
